Typical Walmart. As always, the lines were a bit long. I tried using the self check-out, and still had to wait for an assistant (must have been too big of a purchase). No fault of the store itself, just the general company direction.
Called them tonight to see if they have an optometrist in the building. Could have handled a polite no. Instead the worker snapped no at me and hung up. No thank you for calling no good bye. Sorry customers are inconvenient...
I usually walk into Walmart expecting bad service and almost never surprise. I was in for a treat when i went there looking to acquire a blow up mattress. Asked a sales woman where i could find one. (Usually i get a "somewhere on that side of the store") but the lady took me right to them, asked in detail what kind i wanted and what she recommends to be the best. I was very impressed with the service. If they hire more people like walmart would have a better reputation. Otherwise, keep it up.
Spent 20minutes looking for earplugs, found them locked up in a glass showcase. For two dollar earplugs! No employees were to be found to unlock it. Aisles were full of boxes of stuff that hadnt been put on shelves.Hunting gear and ammunition aisle was so poorly stocked that it might as well not be there.Great place to play the "find an item" game.
It is good place to get some deals and get shopping done fast and at the time i am posting this they are adding more treadmill checkouts to help with all those people who come and are bulk shoppers. hopefully they have people on them and dont let them sit empty or that wont do much good. There is also one of those picture places in this location so if you need a passport photo or hunting license or even just a good old family picture they can handle that. They also have a McDonald's in this location to so if you are ever hungry or just want a snack before you go shopping so dont over buy on junk and other stuff they can do that. The only real problem i have is the parking lot there has at least been twelve or more times when i have been harrassed for money or for someone to put my cart away and the infamous can i have a smoke it is even worse if you do smoke because those things aren't cheap.
